Top 10 Characters In The Fable Series, Ranked

Regardless of which anime Game reviews is your favorite, it's hard to deny that every game in the Fable series has a great cast of characters, some of which are voiced by big-name actors. From characters that continuously help you throughout the story to those that only show up for a little while but make a memorable appearance, the different NPCs in Fable are part of what makes the series so amazing.

Here's a list of all the best characters in the Fable series, from those that are alright to those that shine above the rest. Also, warning for potential spoilers ahead.

At the beginning of Fable 2 , it's explained that Lucien wants to rebuild The Spire that is supposed to be able to give anyone a single wish. He wants to use a wish to bring back his recently deceased wife and daughter, so at least his wish wasn't world domination or something... until it was .

He grew mad as he tried to rebuild The Spire and eventually decided that he would rather change the world into his image of a perfect place with no death rather than bring back his family. To some people, that might sound like an appealing world, but not when he was willing to use kidnapped people as slaves to achieve this wish.

For some Fable fans, Jack of Blades is their favorite villain in the series, and it's easy to see why .

Jack is responsible for Theresa losing her eyes. Then, throughout the game, Jack controls people that the Hero felt he could trust, like Maze, kills the Hero's mother, and puts the Hero in terrible positions like making the Hero decide whether he kills his friend Whisper or even his own sister. His boss fights aren't all that great though, which keeps him from having a higher spot on this list.

Fans of Simon Pegg are sure to recognize Ben's voice in Fable 3 . As a character, Ben tends to bring some comic relief, but he still knows when to take a situation seriously.

When the Hero, Walter, and Ben get separated in Aurora, Ben gets help and gets a search party to go out and find the Hero and Walter. They're found just in time before they potentially parish in the desert, and Ben is there to comfort the Hero and Walter when they wake up. He's also not afraid of a fight and joins the Hero on the front lines during the final battle against the Darkness at the end of the main campaign.

Jasper may make comments about the player's questionable outfit choices , or constantly remind players about how there are new items in the Sanctuary Shop, but he's still a very loyal friend to the Hero who watches over the Sanctuary.

Jasper has some funny voice lines throughout the game, including him trying not to say anything rude about the player's chicken suit or trying to hide his fear while traveling underground near the beginning of the game. It's always good to know that you'll see a friendly face when going back to the Sanctuary while hearing that classic John Cleese sass.

Page is one of the best leaders in Fable 3 as she starts organizing the Bowerstone Resistance before the Hero even thought of starting a revolution against Logan.
